Lisa Mattielli
Lisa Mattielli was born in Schio (Vi) on the 5th of September
in 1986.
Since she
was young she showed immediately her passion for nature and animals in general,
and so she decided to attend the scientific high school F.Corradini of Thiene
(Vi). In 2005 she degreed with 89/100. In the same year she arrived to Alma
Mater Studiorum University of Bologna where she decided to begin her curriculum
in Marine Biology. She has been in Ravenna for 4 months, and for 1 months in
Fano, where she worked in the marine biology and fishing laboratory. On
December she worked in the tropical division to the aquarium of Cattolica,
where she finished her practice activity useful for her final thesis.
She graduated in 2008 presenting a study about husbandry
techniques for eagle ray (Myliobatis aquila). Since 2008 she is attending
the specialisation course of Conservation and Management of Nature.
In the summer of 2007 she worked as volunteer in the wild
fauna and turtles recovery centre in Comiso (RG), with special attention not
only to bird recovery but also to turtles reintroduction activities.
On February
2009 she obtained the Open Water diving licence at PSS school, and this passion
lead her to the Marine science group to take part in the STE project: scuba
tourism of the environment.
She has a
good knowledge of Microsoft office and windows XP operative system.
She had the opportunity to improve her English and French
during a lot of cultural exchange in Germany, France and Ireland.
